Hi, I’m Damian, a married 23-year-old father of 5 wonderful kids. I work full-time as a warehouse manager. I had bacterial meningitis, and it resulted in the amputation of my feet. I am blessed to receive the actual set of legs from a non-profit organization, but I need help with the traveling expenses and time missed from work. We live paycheck to paycheck. I am the only one working currently, as my wife stays home with our babies because of child care costs. I want to be transparent about what your donations would be used for, and that would be the gas to get there, a hotel to stay in for a week (that’s how long the process is), as well as my week of missed pay from work to go towards my bills at home. If there is any funds left over, that would go to my future trips to get new legs, since I will need a new pair about every 2 years. I will post videos of everything so I can show where donations went. I would absolutely LOVE to be able to bring my whole family with me so I don’t have to be without them for a whole week, but of course, it all just depends on what we are able to raise.
